As part of Arts Week we have had so much fun learning how to weave like Penelope, creating wax resistant under the sea paintings, exploring pattern making and building our own boats. We were very inspired by the painting 'Penelope and the Suitors' and enjoyed making 'spotlights' of the painting in which we worked in groups to pretend to be the different characters. We had a brilliant dance workshop in which we created freeze frames of different things we are good at (to impress Penelope) and explored different ways of moving between our balances to music. Finally we wrote some messages to Odyseuss and send them out to sea in bottles.
